With the increasing importance of creativity and design, there are more stakeholders in the design process than ever before. Beyond developers, design involves working with marketers, copywriters, localization experts, product managers and more. Adobe has recognized companies that help streamline the collaboration between these teams so designers can focus on doing great work and we’re happy to announce that Cage is among a few companies proudly supported by Adobe through the Adobe Fund for Design; a $10 million commitment to support teams building products and services that will help shape the future of creativity and design. Through this support, we will build the next generation of Cage and our lineup of Adobe integrations to empower collaboration in the creative world.

Most of you are already familiar with Cage, but as a quick refresher, Cage is media collaboration and project workflow built for designers, agencies and in-house teams. We help individuals and teams collaborate directly on the work, plan and move projects forward, and deliver work that’s sure to impress, on time, every time. Our mission has always been centered around efficiency and effectiveness, and enabling teams to do their best work within the tools they’re already using every day.

So what can you expect? The first in a series of announcements is our Adobe XD plugin. The plugin provides seamless design workflow with all of your tasks, files and discussions in one place, so you get a clear pictures of where projects are at and can manage your workload directly inside Adobe XD. Stress-free design collaboration, directly inside XD. And we’re only just getting started. Soon, we’ll be bringing Cage to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro so that creative teams across industries can collaborate where it makes sense. A big thanks to Drew, Vijay, and so many others at Adobe for helping make this happen.

Teams from companies around the world like Best Buy, Leo Burnett, Loreal, Johnson & Johnson, SapinetRazorfish and Electrolux are already using Cage to help transform the way they work. Try it for free today!
