As you already know, Cage is designed for teams that work on all types of projects. From print and video to sound design and web. If youā€™re team is anything like ours, you move from mockup to code really fast and getting feedback can be cumbersome. So we built a handy little Google Chrome extension that letā€™s you take a screenshot of the entire page, capture just the viewable area, or select a region with just one click. You can download that file or seamlessly add it to a project in Cage and start annotating it with your team and clients. This has already transformed how our team works internally and we think youā€™re going to love it too.

Capture the web.

Hereā€™s just a few ways you can use Cage for Chrome now.

  • Direct Downloads. No Cage account? No worries. You can capture and download those screenshots locally without an account (although we think itā€™s better with). šŸ˜‰
  • Contextual Feedback. Use a variety of annotation tools to highlight and mark up files to provide extra clarity, without any of the extra work. Plus, you can directly mention people on your team, convey tone using emojis and opt to make comments private or public to ensure the right people are involved.
  • Seamlessly Add Files to Projects. Capture and add screenshots directly to any project in Cage for fast and easy collaboration.
  • Dark and Light Modes. Customize your experience and pick from our dark and light modes.

Our team will continue to improve this simple extension and add new functionality over time. Feel free to download the extension in the Chrome store and send us any feedback you might have. Weā€™re featured on Product Hunt too, so join the conversation and ask any questions you might have there.

Teams from companies around the world like Best Buy, Leo Burnett, Loreal, Johnson & Johnson, SapinetRazorfish and Electrolux are already using Cage to help transform the way they work. Try it for free today!

Enjoy this latest feature release and if you have any feedback, weā€™d love to hear it. Thereā€™s plenty more coming soon too! Help us spread the word and connect with us on Twitter, Instagram, and Dribbble.
